Makamit ang accreditation candidacy o re-accreditation, gaya ng tinukoy sa mga regulasyon, bago ang Nobyembre 18, 2019, at ang buong accreditation bago ang Pebrero 18, 2023.
Kung ang institusyong ito ay huminto sa paghabol sa akreditasyon, dapat itong:

Itigil ang lahat ng pagpapatala sa mga programang pang-degree nito, at
-
Magbigay ng teach-out para tapusin ang programang pang-edukasyon o magbigay ng refund.
Ang isang institusyon na nabigong sumunod sa mga kinakailangan sa akreditasyon sa mga kinakailangang petsa ay dapat magkaroon ng pag-apruba nito na awtomatikong masuspinde ang mga programa sa degree. Noong Hunyo 4, 2019, naabot ng Virscend University ang unang deadline nito.

Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)
In 2022 Virscend University received SEVP Certification. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) delegated the school certification process to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and ICE assigned this responsibility to its SEVP. SEVP Certification allows institutions to issue Forms I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status,” to prospective international students after admitting them for a course of study.
